Kaylie Haun Memorial Foundation Riding & Roping For Kaylie
The Kaylie Haun Memorial Foundation was established in 2014 in memory of Kaylie. Â
Kaylie was a sincerely considerate person, positive, and effusive. While she was an active participant in many activities , her primary love was for horses and rodeo. She competed with dedication and was known for her unwavering encouragement of both her teammates and fellow competitors.
Each Labor Day the Kaylie Haun Memorial Event is held at the Goshen County Pavilion. Events include Barrel Racing, Breakaway Roping, and Goat Tying for varied age divisions. In addition to the events the Foundation also hosts a Silent Auction and free BBQ as a gesture of community and good will for all attendees.Â
All proceeds from the Labor Day Event are used for scholarships, backpack programs, class supplies, and to help make wishes come true for critically ill children. The Foundation holds a 501(c) 3 status so all donations are tax deductible.Â
The Foundation awards 2 $1000 Scholarships each year.
- Female High School Graduate attending college of their choice, participating in college rodeo.
- Second Year Eastern Wyoming College female participating in college rodeo.
